Coal gangue can meet the roadbed filling performance that has been demonstrated,but in the natural environment,it has not been verified that eluviation would have any effect on coal gangue subgrade settlement.Therefore,the flooded environment which is rain,acid rain,the rise of ground water level,and industrial and living waste water was simulated by static leaching,to study the effect of leaching of coal gangue subgrade settlement.Dongsheng coal gangue and Wuhai coal gangue were studied.The test was consisted of CH3COOH,neutral and NaOH leaching solution,each kind of leaching solution was consisted of1:1,1:2.5,1:3,1:4,1:5ratio of solid to liquid,and then determined solution pH value respectively on1,3,7,11,15days.Through the analysis of results,the1:1solid-liquid ratio has the maximum change,and its composition was analysed by XRD,finally carried on the numerical simulation with FLAC (Fast Lagrangian Analysis of Continua) software,analysised on coal gangue subgrade settlement,and explained the phenomenon from pH value and XRD patterns.The results indicate that the finally leaching solution of two coal gangue is acid,and the content of kaolinite and SiO2also have some change,and generated some sticky substances that cause Dongsheng and Wuhai coal gangue subgrade settlement which were soaked by acid or alkali are relatively small.Therefore,when the coal gangue subgrade in the leaching condition,if achieve the simulation test situations,it will decrease the settlement of subgrade.
