Earthquake damage of the tunnel has get people’s attention more and more.In theearthquake, the underground structures are better than the earth’s seismiccharacteristics of the structure, but the seismic performance of the weak links and keyparts of the tunnel are often cannot be guaranteed, especially the shallow tunnel.A lotof damage data also reflects underground structures in the earthquake, theywill havevarying degrees of damage.Recently the2008Wenchuan earthquake and the2013earthquake in Ya’an Lushan, making people realize that highway tunnel may suffersevere damage or even damage. The shallow tunnel seismic action with the mostsensitive, with more and more shallow tunnel, if the earthquake caused widespreaddestruction of shallow tunnels, human and economic losses will be difficult toestimate. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the structure of shallow tunnels reactionof a factor as conditions change, and to identify the key factors for seismic design ofunderground structures, and to provide guidance to optimize the design of shallowtunnels. So, it is important to analyses a number of factors affecting the seismicresponse of shallow tunnels. In this paper, rock-structure interaction is the coretheory, dynamic finite element method for the analysis of means, with a largegeneral-purpose finite element software ANSYS architecture to build a tunnel underearthquake reasonable interaction model for a large number of calculations, andsummarized the reaction of some underground structure rules, it can provide a usefulreference for the design and optimization of seismic response prediction of shallowtunnels underground structures. The main content of the following aspects:①It analyzes the development trend of the current underground structures, summarized the seismic studies history of underground structures, the main methodstatus and current research. Proposed the effects and value of underground structuresmade especially shallow tunnels response factors necessity.②The time history analysis method, by using the appropriate boundaryconditions, establish a reasonable calculation model of shallow tunnel structure forseismic response analysis. Through the establishment of different depths, seismicintensity, different concrete strength, different lining thickness numerical modelinvolves the dynamic effects of non-uniform deformation, non-uniformity of thestress field and other considerations, the impact of a number of shallow tunnels reaction parameters were analyzed, and propose the corresponding impact model.Byanalyzing the analytical results under conditions of two-dimensional seismic responseof shallow tunnels, given the impact of the structural response of a number of factors, presented on the seismic response characteristics of shallow tunnels understanding.③In the theoretical methods and findings, based on seismic and based on theperformance of its shallow tunnel lining has a close relationship, further on concretestrength, lining thickness, tunnel depth changes and geological conditions on thestructure of the seismic response of shallow tunnels effects are discussed.④Factors affecting the results were analyzed. The numerical results of theanalytical results and the dynamic conditions under analysis were compared proposedrelationship, the various parameters affect the size of the comments made, andaccordingly for the seismic design of shallow tunnels some suggestions andsummarized in this article work and proposed further work carried out.
