With the rapid development of urban transport sector, rail transport is becoming anintegral part of the urban transport system, The girder of steel truss cable-stayed bridgeincreasingly favored in large-span highway and light-railway bridge. The new standardof bridge shape and landscape requires for urban construction and development, madethe conventional intensive system cable stayed bridge which serious block the city’sview can’t increase the permeability of the bridge structure,Therefore, part of singleplane cable stayed bridge seems more reasonable. This new type bridge’s operationalrisk issues in complex urban transport environment are also increasingly valued by thepeople.This paper was based on the existing research of bridge risk assessment theoreticalsystem, combined with the specific characteristics of the particular operatingenvironment of the Chongqing Dong shuimeng Yangtze River Bridge, study theoperational risk assessment of the single plane double truss main girder cable-stayedbridge.The main work is as follows:①Based on the basic theory, basic workflow of bridge engineering’s riskassessment, combined with a variety of factors such as bridge design, materials used,construction technology, operations condition monitoring maintenance management,established single plane highway and light-railway steel truss cable-stayed bridgeoperational security risk assessment system and method which based on informationfrom multiple sources.②Clarify the risk source’s general characteristics and steps to identify the risksource,focus on the principles and computation methods of AHP based on Fault Tree.By investigating the accident statistics of various risks at home and abroad bridge, havebuild a bridge risk accident database. According to the specific operating environmentand the characteristics of the Chongqing Dong shuimeng Yangtze River Bridge, haveused of the method of AHP identify the main sources of risk during its operational.③The paper have analyzed the bridge structure’ s vulnerability and robustness ofthe typical risk scenarios during operation period, gived the structure’s vulnerabilityassessment basis and method of single plane double truss main girder cable-stayed bridge, make use of finite element analysis tools to find vulnerable parts of thestructure, combined with structure robustness analysis several indicators,focuses on thestructure robust performance of the Dong shuimeng Yangtze River Bridge in the typicalrisk scenarios.④Starting from bridge risk probability estimation basic model, have studied the,calculation method of the risk basis probability and the probability which loss caused byrisk accident.The risk losses was divided into loss of structure damage, loss of trafficdelays, casualties losses, environmental and social losses, also have done theappropriate research for estimation model of these types of risk loss.⑤Analysis of the bridge structure operational security risk acceptance criteria,combined with ALAPR guidelines and risk matrix developed the bridge operationalsafety risk acceptance criteria, gives the corresponding risk accidents probability andloss grading standards.
