As important heat exchanger equipment, tube and shell heat exchanger is widely used in petrochemical production, and the heat transfer performance had a greater influence on the technological process of this areas. At present, a large amount of new types of polymer are applied in oil field tertiary oil recovery, which will lead to tube and shell heat exchanger fouling dramatically increasing, heat resistance addition and the heat exchange performance degradation. And dirt corrosive medium in the pipe wall can corrosion of metal, leading to the pipe wall perforation, that forming a tube and shell heat exchanger leakage and causing material pollution. Quick and effective identification of the tube and shell heat exchanger fouling and leakage fault is the basic guarantee for shortening the maintenance period and reducing the change of heat pipe. The heat transfer characteristics of tube and shell heat exchanger fouling and leakage is the key to the development of the related technology. Obtaining the heat transfer characteristics of tube and shell heat exchanger fouling and leakage has great significance of the related technology development based on the thermal parameter detection of tube and shell heat exchanger fouling and leakage.This paper treat the heat transfer characteristics of tube and shell heat exchanger fouling and leakage as the research target, studying the simulation model, solving method, prediction model and field test method of tube and shell heat exchanger fouling and leakage.The main research content includes the following three parts:1. The research of tube wall fouling effecting law about the flow heat transfer performance of tube and shell heat exchanger.2. The research of tube wall leakage effecting law about the flow heat transfer performance of tube and shell heat exchanger.3. The prediction research tube and shell heat exchanger internal fault diagnosis based on tube and shell import and export dynamic parameters such as temperature and pressureIn this paper, combinating with the operation characteristics of tube and shell heat exchanger at original firm in a station of a brigade of Daqing Oil Field Gas Branch, numerical simulated the flow and heat transfer about tube and shell heat exchanger by stand and for the special medium that sand oil-sand oil and with the help of Fluent software and on the basis of making full use of the basic theory and research results. Analyse the impact of scaling and leakage on flow and heat transfer performance of the heat exchanger. The research conclusion has certain theoretical guidance on test pipe wall scaling and leakage by using heat exchanger thermal parameters.
