A missile silo is mainly used for the storage and missiles the manhole cover is oneof the main equipments in missile silos.The opening speed and stability directlyinfluences the missile strike capability.the hydraulic drive system is used to controlcovers on and off.In this paper,the hydraulic transmission system of the manhole coveris the main study object.Firstly,this paper briefly introduced the hydraulic transmission system of themanhole.Based on analysis of the manhole cover operation process, combined withsome practical problems in the maintenance process, we studied and analyzed the mainproblems and the reasons of these problems. The main problems summarized are systemshock, serious internal leakage, high calorie, high failure rate, and inconvenient repair.Secondly, based on the analysis of the existing problems and reasons of themanhole cover hydraulic system,we put forward the principle of hydraulic systemoptimization,then we optimize the design of hydraulic system combined with someparameters and hydraulic components of original hydraulic system.And the mainhydraulic components of hydraulic system and the main hydraulic circuit are analyzedin detail.Finally,we analyze the hydraulic impact theory,including the principle andharm,And with the control principle of hydraulic system of the manhole cover,we buildmathematical model of the classic valve controlled cylinder.Hydraulic simulationsoftware is used to simulate the running speed of the hydraulic system and thesynchronization process.The results determine the feasibility of the optimized hydraulicsystem function.Also we use simulation software to analyze hydraulic impact in theoperations of the normal reversing system,the proportional reversing system andaccumulator system.It verifies that the optimized hydraulic system in hydraulic impacthas been greatly improved and it achieves the expected results.
