In recent years, the Metro construction of China has entered an unconventional rapid development, and China has become the world’s largest subway construction market. In order to smooth implementation of Metro project, complete the goal of the project and avoid accidents that may occur, it must implement safety risk management with advanced science and technology. The paper researches on safety identification and assessment as an entry point to deepen the theory of risk management is of theoretical and practical significance. The paper focus safety risk identification and assessment in deep foundation of Metro project, based on risk management of Metro project. It helps to improve the safety performance of deep foundation of Metro project, enrich the safety risk management theory. The research contents and conclusions have the following aspects:1. To optimize the traditional WBS method, building a WBS-RBS matrix. Using WBS-RBS method to identify the safety risk factors of Deep foundation is more advance than using WBS.2. To break the shackles of the traditional fault tree method in safety assessment, using the WBS-RBS fault tree assessment, it easier to analyze the impacts of safety risk factors. The WBS-RBS fault tree is more suitable for risk assessment than traditional method.3. To verify the feasibility and effectiveness of WBS-RBS method and WBS-RBS fault tree, based on Metro Line3of XX city FuBu Rd station deep foundation, in the using of conventional LEC method research the safety risk assessment and WBS-RBS fault tree risk assessment methods to conclude research results, the two kinds of methods get the same conclusions.
