The problem of Interference surrounding buildings to wind farms and windeffects the structure of large buildings has became one of the hot issues in the area ofwind engineering research. Considering the reserching aspect, this issue can bedivided into two types: the first one is the interference effects of wind of urbanhigh-rise building structure,another is the interference effects of wind of largeindustrial structures. In terms of the effects the interference may leads, it can also bedivided into two categories, one is the impact from wind pressure on the buildingstructure, the other is impact on overall force.As a kind of building for civil use, high-rise building is widely used in ourcountry. In the processe of urbanization, more and more high-rise buildings have beenconstructed. For many buildings, with the suburbs of geomorphic types anddistribution of surrounding buildings are changing, the wind pressure betweenhigh-rise building has been comparable changed. Therefore, those problems aresignificant research spots that need to study.Based on a high-rise building in Guangzhou, peak and average wind pressuredata of B,C,D wind field are analyzed with or without interference of high-risebuildinng by the means of wind tunnel test. The results show that wind field typeshave great influence on peak and average wind pressure, the peak and average windpressure data of different types of terrain are followed by B, C, D from the large tosmall in most cases, the influence on peak and average wind pressure are related tothe relative position of interferenceAs a large industrial building, the gas tank is widely used in industry. Once thegas tank has damaged, the consequence is unimaginable. Most gas tanks are built inthe suburb area of the city, the geomorphic types are mostly the class B. In this case,with the development of economy, a new gas tank may be built around the existingone. As a result, the new gas tank may change the dynamic effect of the existing gastank. Therefore, The gas tank in the base shear force for the overall index, and thenstudy the impact of the gas cabinet enclosure surrounding the situation by force has avery important engineering significance.Based on Shanghai baosteel gas tankt, the average basal shear and pulsatingbasal shear data of gas tank with or without interference are analyzed by the means of wind tunnel load test. The result shows that the average basal shear and pulsatingbasal shear data are related with the relative position between interference gas tankand wind directions.
