| With the rapid development of modern urbanization, the wind interference effects of high-rise buildings are becoming more and more complicated with increasing building density and building height. The wind load data and empirical formulas adopted by the current code of building design and the construction standard, were mostly based on the wind tunnel test results of isolated building, without considering the interference effects of surrounding buildings. It caused certain errors to architectural structure design, and the design wind speed given in the specification may be biased towards danger, too.Existing studies and project cases showed that there were interference effects among buildings. The envelope structure of high-rise buildings generally took the form of glass curtain wall with weak wind resistance. It often resulted in envelope structure damage under typhoons whose speed were lower than the design wind speed, due to excessive local peak wind pressure. Therefore, the studies of wind-induced interference effects among high-rise buildings have important theoretical significance and engineering value in the wind-resistant design for building envelopes and main structures of high-rise buildings. However, the current research mainly focused on the wind-induced interference under a single interfering building, and there were few studies on the wind pressure distribution and wind-induced response under two interfering buildings.Due to the high complexity of wind-induced interference effects among three buildings, this paper only conducted an in-depth study on that the interference effects on pressure distribution and wind-induced responses for a super-tall building under two symmetrically arranged high-rise buildings. The research contents were as follows:(1)Pressure distributions of the principal building were obtained by synchronous pressure measurement technique for the isolated and all the interference cases.Block interference factors(BIFs)and surface interference factors(SIFs)of wind pressures were used to analyze the surface wind pressure distribution characteristics of a super-tall building under two symmetrically arranged high-rise buildings.(2)Then wind-induced responses were calculated in difference reduced velocities.Aerodynamic interference factors(AIFs)of base moment, and enveloped interference factors(EIFs)of the peak base moment responses and peak acceleration responses were detailed investigated. |
