Acoustic properties of materials and their internal organizational changes have some impact on the spread of ultrasound when ultrasonic spread in material being detected, which is in detected material. Ultrasonic testing is a kind of technique, which grasps material properties and structural changes through detecting the degree of ultrasound affected.ARM digital signal processing ability and DSP capacity control system has its own weakness, so this paper presents a method based on ARM and DSP double CPU design portable digital ultrasonic flaw detector, making full use of the ARM and DSP processing performance.From the practical application of the design requirements, a comprehensive analysis of various performance indicators and function demand, this article elaborated corresponding technical scheme selection, put forward the digital portion of the ARM+DSP+CPLD architecture design, and thus determine the key device selection. The ultrasonic echo signal data acquisition are discussed and designed to meet the needs of the subject design of limiter circuit, programmable gain amplifier circuit, filter circuit, frequency of A/D acquisition circuit, switch circuit, practical circuit etc. Through the application program design, complete the ultrasonic echo data graphics display, defect, realizes to the echo data storage and communication between the instrument and PC.
