Super capacitor is a new energy storage device between traditional capacitor andbattery. It has high specific capacitance, long recycle life and friendly to environment,mainly used in electric cars and smart grid.The study of super capacitor is liquid state electrolyte super capacitor, the core isthe electrode. Because of the immature technology of fast ion conduction, the study ofsolid state electrolyte super capacitor is restricted. Focusing on solid state electrolyte,this paper does some exploratory research on electrode, solid state electrode andseparator several aspects.In this paper, Polyaniline works as the electrode. It was prepared by chemicalmethod. Polyaniline under optimized condition was obtained. BaTiO3, Na-β”-Al2O3andNa-β”-Al2O3@BaTiO3were synthesized as the solid state electrolyte. A more suitablesolid state electrolyte material is obtained. BaTiO3and Na-β”-Al2O3@BaTiO3work assolid state electrolyte, Na-β”-Al2O3made by sol-gel and high energy ball millingmethod works as separator. Super capacitor was fabricated by tabletting technology andthe performance was tested by the use of electrochemical workstation.Major achievements are as follows:(1) Polyaniline was prepared by chemical method. The powder synthesized hashigh conductivity(2.4x10-3s/cm) and high productivity(93.57%). The operation ofchemical method is simple, safe and low cost.(2) BaTiO3、Na-β”-Al2O3and Na-β”-Al2O3@BaTiO3were synthesized successfully.These powders were used as the materials of solid state electrolyte.Na-β”-Al2O3@BaTiO3as the solid state electrolyte has better performance. It has thecapacitance of29.06mF, power density of1.26W/kg and maximum energy density of9.07Wh/kg, the performance is more close to the ideal capacitor, has good charge anddischarge performance, leakage current is small and stable.(3) Tabletting technology was used to fabricate several super capacitors. A samplethat Na-β”-Al2O3@BaTiO3works as solid state electrolyte and Na-β”-Al2O3synthesizedby sol-gel method works as separator has better property. It has the capacitance of52.83mF, power density of0.625W/kg and maximum energy density of8.25Wh/kg.
