It has not only some functions of cities, but also has the special points of countryside. Therefore, the small cities and towns are the comprehensive system of the epitome of the moden life style in cities and the interweaving of the natural conditions and social customs in ancient times. In the process of promoting the urbanization in Henan Province, it plays a decisive role for those small cities and towns to develop steady, fast and healthy.Henan Province is located in the middle area of Chinese mainland which has long long history and profound culture. The unique regional culture and the deep accumulation of historical culture is a kind of valuable treasure, which provides a broad stage for building up the small cities and towns. the current situation of building up the small cities and towns in Henan Province, some of those small cities and towns are in state of chaos because they pursue big size, new designing and western styles.Although the downtown area expands rapidly, they are lack of practical program or they do not carry out the program strictly and are lack of topics and procedure.The enlarged small cities and towns look like thin pancakes and the basicly living installation of them is not installed timely. As the result of ignoring the improvement of those old cities and environment, the excellent and cultural heritage is not recognized correctly and not taken seriously.
