In the engineering construction, we often encounter a lot of slope engineering. Slope instability, listed as the world’s top three major geological disasters with earthquakes and volcanoes, is a global geological disaster. Slope instability destruction accident has brought serious loss to human life and property. Therefore, it is necessary to discuss the slope engineering in construction process of excavation and supporting, and research the slope stability in construction of engineering task. In this paper, by combining with the high slope’s actual geological conditions and excavation construction in Fengning, we use the large general-purpose finite element software ANSYS to make the finite element numerical simulation analysis of the slope.In combination with the practical engineering geological conditions of the high slope of water conveyance tunnel exit, fully considering the site excavation support construction sequence, and using the finite element software ANSYS to simulate the process of slope excavation and support, to obtain the distribution of maximum deformation and maximum stress of the slope under different stages of excavation and supporting. The analysis shows: the slope is stability under the natural state; The support by rockbolt and shotcrete in slope excavation process is necessary, and the support can change slope surface stress distribution; At the third stage of slope excavation, slope’s displacement change is bigger. So enough protection layer must be left in case of the phenomenon of slop’s instability when it is blasted.Based on the finite element method of strength reduction factor, successively select reduction factor of the original slope and the slope whose excavation and support has been completed to perform the finite element calculation. And according to the slope instability criterion, analyze and get the safety factor of the original slope and the slope whose excavation and support has been completed. By analyzing the convergence curve, horizontal displacement and the plastic deformation of the simulation results under different reduction factor obtained:the strength reduction factor of the original slope is F=6.31, safety factor model is6.31; Strength reduction factor for the slope whose excavation and support has been completed is F=5.0, safety factor model is5.0, and because of the safety factor of the slope is greater than the slope safety factor of level1.35, so it is certain to say that the slope is stable.Through the analysis of this article, combining with numerical simulation results, the easy case of slope instability has been discussed, which provides a reference for the construction of water conveyance tunnel hole protection.
