Prestressed curve continuous rigid frame bridge is one of the widelyused bridge in bridge construction. Its structure and mechanical characteristics ismore complex then prestressed linear continuous rigid frame bridge, Commonlyused construction method is cantilever construction method. The present commonlyused software for calculation on design and construction calculation of bridge isMIDAS/Civil, ANSYS, Dr Bridge, etc. Although these software can completed thecalculation effectively, but due to the fact that the softwares mentioned above arebased on menu or command stream operation, the modeling procedure can notadequately reflect the engineering characteristics of construction calculation ofprestressed curve rigid frame bridge, so the modeling efficiency is low.Graphic stream method is a new modeling method. Its modeling basis isfunctional graphics objects. Functional graphics objects are sub-block of engineeringmodel with their own properties characteristics. This method set up engineeringmodel by the coordination and cooperation of functional graphic objects, in whichway the solution of engineering problem can be converted into creating, operatingand deducing the functional graphic objects. it can highlights practical engineeringcharacteristics, in turn reduces unnecessary mechanical operation in the process ofmodel establishment. As result, the solution of engineering problem becomes moreclear, simple, convenient and efficient.In this paper on the basis of further study of structure characteristics,mechanical characteristics, cantilever construction process of curve continuous rigidframe bridge, summarizes the flow of establish engineering model of prestressedcurve continuous rigid frame bridge by the graphic stream technology, usingroad&brige construction expert system as platforms, developed the functionalgraphics objects which is used in the process of the modeling, then through creating,manipulating and deduction the functional graphics objects prestressed curvecontinuous rigid frame bridge cantilever construction simulation could be achieved. Using the command stream interface technology complete the conversion ofcantilever construction simulation model to command stream of MIDAS. Finallyverified feasibility, accuracy and efficiency of the graphic stream method by theproject example.
