The main content of this paper is based on a thick plate isolation building of engineering examples to discuss the method of placing steel bars in according with the elastic stress diagrams feasibility and the stress characteristics of the plate. Through the isolation layer plate exists in the analysis and reinforcement of the problem, pointed out that theory of plates and shells and could not reflect the stress characteristics of the thick plate transition layer in the overall analysis, the mutual affection between the thick plate and the columns or shear walls which connect to it is omitted. To eliminate these shortcomings, the paper puts forward a new method of placing steel bars in accordance with finite elements analysis and stress diagrams, and it designs arid calculates one of the thick plate isolation of high-rise buildings. Thus, it is illustrated that the method put forward in this paper is rational and practical. The work of this paper has made the beneficial discussion in order to further understand the design of plate isolation building, some valuable results are obtained. The problem of reinforcement design of isolation layer plate can be attributed to non-pole structures. In this paper, through an engineering example, makes an overall analysis and local analysis for the thick plate transition layer in detail by using the method of placing steel bars in according with the elastic stress diagrams, and according to the stress distribution graph of reinforcement calculation. Firstly, establish the overall model of the whole analysis in ETABS, get the internal force of thick plate transition layer on the column and shear wall; and then select with the nodes with isolation layer plate and its shear wall and column as local analysis object, created by the finite element calculation model in ABAQUS, get the stress distribution of the composite body. Finally, put the "design specification for hydraulic concrete"(DLT5057-1996) stress reinforcement method in Appendix H as the foundation, the simplified method. Calculated by the distribution pattern of the stress of reinforced area by using the analysis results obtained by ABAQUS, obtain the reinforcement scheme of each node and through elastic and elastic plastic analysis to verify the capacity of the joint whether meet the requirements specification and thick plate on the elastic and elastic plastic analysis of the stress characteristics; these work not only interpret the feasibility and practicality of using the method of placing steel bars in according with the elastic stress diagrams in the design of non-pole structure systems, but also by the stress characteristics of thick plate presented reinforcement should pay attention to the site. This paper presented a simplified method of placing steel bars in according with stress diagrams is feasible from the point of view of theory, because the building code of reinforcement on non-pole structures has not been clearly defined, the method can be used in the practical application of the slab reinforcement design to provide a reference for the isolation layer plate and the reinforcement should be based on the graphical calculation provide some reference.
