Voltage is one of the important indexes of power quality, power factor is an important trade index of the electric power enterprises. How to improve the voltage qualified rate and power factor, reactive power equipment specification for management, increase social satisfaction, become a problem we must face. Power system reactive power optimization problem belongs to a part of OPF, is a dynamic and multi-objective constraint, uncertain and nonlinear mixed programming, involves the reactive power compensation location selection, the determination of reactive power compensation capacity and the adjustment of transformer tap cooperation, etc. In this paper, the regional power grid voltage reactive power automatic grading coordination control has been explored and the regional power grid control tasks and their respective function at all levels are analyzed, the regional power grid voltage reactive power optimization control and reactive power planning and construction are put forward. The differences in regions and seasons of Hangzhou power grid reactive power control are introduced, and be applied in the process of AVQC transformation in Zhejiang province. Aimed at least loses of power, the AVQC interconnected transformation determined the optimization of voltage and reactive power cutting conditions based on information connected to all server operations. Finally, a power factor comprehensive early warning system directed by the author is presented to demonstrate the practical effect of this topic.
