Electric energy is an important material guarantee for social and economic development.However,the issue of power quality becomes increasingly prominent in recent years.Problems like power system reactive,harmonic,three-phase imbalance and voltage pulsation will cause not only major damages to equipments and circuits but also great impact on safe and stable operation of the power system.The paper has made an introduction to the concept of power quality as well as smart equipments that are currently applied in low-voltage power distribution system for improving power quality,including reactive power compensation device,active power filter(APF),low-voltage three-phase unbalance load balance equipment and low-voltage regulator;moreover,this paper has illustrated its rationale and function in improving power quality,come up with the concept of joint operation of several intelligent low-voltage power distribution units,made a focused research of how to coordinate,control and operate several intelligent low-voltage power distribution equipments and offering a technical plan for improving power quality.As per on-site trial operation,a systematic evaluation of effects of this intelligent coordination and control system on improving quality of power quality is made.As a rare subject on low-voltage power distribution intelligent coordination and control,this subject is featured with perspectiveness and generalizability.
