Under the background that "Energy Conservation" policies proposed by government and new and extremely strict revised GB13223-2011Thermal Power Plant Air Pollutant Emission Standards issued by state. Considering high efficiency energy consumption and emission level of supercritical generators, and combining with load fluctuation and actual operating condition of thermal equipment in power plant, the potential of energy saving and emission reduction can be found out, thus, comprehensive analysis can be made to obtain optimal operation mode of heat economy and operating parameters reference value. Therefore, the purpose of energy saving can be achieved; also a contribution to pollutant emission reduction and new pollutant emissions standards might be made.600MW supercritical condensing steam units, which are main power generation in China, are selected as targeting plants in this paper. Physical and mathematical model under variable conditions have been established based on current variable-condition properties of thermodynamic system located in the side of turbine. Based on the original variables, such as turbine load and atmospheric conditions, the important thermal dynamic parameters of thermal dynamic system under variable conditions can be calculated. With turbine specific heat rate calculation model and MATLAB optimization program, the optimum operating parameters under various operating modes when the turbine specific heat rate is low can be obtained. After the comparison of operating point of infinite number, the optimal operating mode and operating parameters under various conditions can be found out, then optimal operating mode and optimal main steam parameters of turbine units, when under the condition of different turbine load and different wet-bulb temperature in typical seasons, can be got by curve fitting, and the optimal operating mode of circulating pump is made at the same time.
