| For a long time, people have been excessive to believe that the durability of concrete structures and neglected to consider the durability of the reinforced concrete structures, which makes the study of the durability of reinforced concrete structures relatively lag behind, and the resulting loss is enormous. It can be seen every where that the concrete structures were damaged severely because of their insufficient durability. The destruction of the concrete structures caused by the carbonation of concrete and steel corrosion is more widespread and the damage it leads to is serious. Therefore, studying the durability of the reinforced concrete structures has very important significance.This paper mainly analyzed the factors affecting the durability of reinforced concrete bridges and combined the existing researches and engineering practice to study the concrete corrosion mechanism and the theoretical model. According to the factors that affect the durability of concrete, this paper came up with the measures of how to enhance the durability of reinforced concrete bridges and also gave the methods of testing and assessing the durability of reinforced concrete bridges. Finally, the paper gave the measures of reinforcing the damaged reinforced concrete bridges.This paper mainly focused on the following aspects:1. After analyzing the main factors that affect the durability of reinforced concrete bridges, this paper elaborated the conditions of all hazards and the corrosion mechanism and its mathematical model.2. Based on the factors that affect the durability of reinforced concrete bridges, this paper gave the durability design of reinforced concrete bridges and explained its maintenance and management.3. According to the existing data on the durability of reinforced concrete bridges and its detection methods, this paper elaborated the principles and operating procedures of various detection methods.4. This paper explained some methods of assessing the durability of reinforced concrete bridges. |
