After entering the21st century, Chinese underground engineering has entered ahigh development period. With the city’s available space becoming less, undergroundspace gained prominence. The underground space was always used to construct malls,parking lot and rail transportation. As the commonest travel mode, tunnel wasextensively used. In recent years, a growing number of tunnel projects crossed theexisting overground structures, which brings more engineering projects.Drilling-Blasting method has been adopted in lots of projects. Nearby rock soil masswould be perturbed during blasting, causing uneven settlements and deformation ofsurface and runway. Some accidents occurred when constructing tunnels under airports,which need us to research land subsidence caused by construction of tunnel deformationand displacement to ensure the safety of the surrounding structures,which has becameurgent issues to be solved of underground engineering construction today. In the usestage of the tunnel which under the runway of plane, impact load of plane when takingoff or taxiing and land have some effects on the tunnel structure. Therefore, it isnecessary and considerable realistic significance to study the dynamic influencebetween the tunnel and the airport runway. Based on the Enshi XuJiaping tunnel underthe XuJiaping airdrome, this article has take a study on construction controltechnologies of the tunnel through the airport runway to explore dynamic relationshipbetween the airport runway and tunnel when it was constructed or running. The mainstudy process and production are as follows:①Research into interplay on highway tunnels and airport runway under staticconditionsStudy adverse impacts on the airport runway of tunnel excavation at differentdepths. Mutual influence of the airport runway and tunnel was obtained by analyzingsurface subsidence, and concluded the minimum depth under static conditions.②Research into interplay on highway tunnels and airport runway under dynamicconditionsBased on the minimum depth of the previous step, obtaine mutual influence of theairport runway and tunnel was by analyzing land vibration velocity, and concludedthe minimum depth under dynamic conditions.③Research into interplay of aircraft impact load on the stability of the tunnel Based on the minimum depth of the previous step,research into interplay of aircraftimpact load on the stability of the tunnel,and get the minimum depth.This paper summarizes the findings the influence of tunnel construction on theairport runway, and influence of aircraft movements on the the tunnel when airportoperating, simultaneously,the researchs can have highly practical value and referentialsignificance in the future architectural projects.
