The viscosity of the liquid is an important physical property. In the field of our country’s economy, it has been widely used in traffic, petroleum, chemical, which also is to ensure the production quality, production process control, product quality evaluation and the main method of research. Most common type viscometer is offline measurement with long measurement time, poor stability, and low accuracy. Compared with the international big company production of precision liquid viscosity online, measuring device is expensive and difficult to large-scale product.Using capillary principle, this paper designs and realizes a set of low cost, high precision online viscosity detection device. Tank, pump have been involved in the design to realize the isolation between production and measurement, which can reduce the influence of production process to the measurement result. It designs the replaceable type capillary, widening the range of liquid, and improving the accuracy of measurement. The use of PC’s configuration helps convenient operator remote monitoring, timely to see the status of the field production.Compared with the actual liquid viscosity Liquid, viscosity measurement system based on the homemade the measured data, have an error of no more than5%. Otherwise, the system stability is acceptable, easy to operate, and the measured data can be showed in the upper machine, according to the feedback to the staff, to verify the feasibility of the system.
