Along with the increasing of tunnel section the using of v-cut blasting technology becomes more and more popular. The length of tunnel tunneled by v-cut blasting technology is longer and longer. But the research of v-cut blasting mechanism is slowly, and blasting parameters of wedge-shaped cutting are difficult to determine. The parameters we used now obtain through tunnel that has been completed. In fact, the parameters can not work well, the engineers adjust them through a small section of the test. Due to the relationship between the cutting parameters makes parameter s adjustment work not only cumbersome but also difficult. And whether the adjusted parameters can obtain good economic benefits, driving speed is the fastest and explosive specific charge of blasting is least, and so on, we don’t know. These problems are urgently needed to answer.Analysised and compared the advantages and disadvantages of three kinds of classical theory of explosion effect in this work, the Author Chooses the angry and blasting shock wave synthesis theory as the theoretical basis of this study, and based on the theory we studied the rock which was damaged in cylindrical charge structure, and probes into the cylindrical charge under the condition of wedge cut blasting mechanism. The formula of the v-cut parameters was deduced based on the mechanism of blasting of the wedge and absorbed and drew lessons from the analysis method of some literature. Because of the limitation of existing experimental apparatus, we can not observe the whole process of explosion. So this article uses the finite element dynamic simulation software-LS DYNA3D software to simulate the v-cut. Keeping in touch with the ssumed conditions of v-cut mechanism, the Simulation results are identify with predictions. It can achieve the effect we want by using parameters of the v-cut blasting deduced in this paper. Finally combining with field experiment research we can judge that the v-cut blasting is more outstanding than cylinder cut in utilization rate of the v-cut hole and drilling construction intensity.The research which analysises v-cut blasting mechanism for the first time in the aspect of quantitative is clearly different from what only qualitative conclusions are given before. At the same time, the research has deduced an integrated system of v-cut parameters calculation formula for the first time based on the reference and absorption of advanced modern science theory. The correctness and rationality of the formula was validated by field experiment.
