With the increase of urban distribution network load density and cable lineproportion is more and more big, the influence of the capacitive reactive power of citynetwork is more and more big, even affect the power grid security and stability andeconomic operation of distribution network, at the same time, the increase ofcapacitive current distribution network caused by ground when single-phasegrounding current of hundreds, and docking to compensation mode and the behaviorall have a great influence, so the cable distribution network reactive power operationcharacteristics and grounding capacitive characteristics and their influence is of greatsignificance.Paper briefly introduces the cable line capacitance current calculation method.Through the analysis of the research for more urban substation, a lot of running datawere obtained. Through the analysis of these data, the practical operation of each lineis calculated. Also gives the power cable parameters of each substation system wiringdiagram at a time, when normal operation of the capacitive current and capacitivereactive power, the capacitive current when single-phase earth fault occurs.Were calculated in this paper, we emphatically line runtime capacitive reactivepower, and reactive delivers the line line loss, for the urban distribution network in thecable line is increasing, high amounts of grounding capacitive current compensationand the normal operation of reactive power compensation to provide a theoreticalbasis. This article calculate the line loss of the power cable to cable selection areproposed.Through the analysis of these data, the substation installation of capacitivecurrent compensation device was evaluated and the suggestion, should not onlyconsider the single phase grounding capacitive current compensation; At the sametime also want to consider the compensation of substation during normal operation thecapacitive reactive power cable line problem.
