With the progress of human society and the development of economy, energy andenvironment problem has become one of the most concern in the world. For itsenvironmental friendly feature, great development prospect, strong developed ability,and large wind energy storage capacity and so on, Wind power has been a bigattention in many country, and control technology of wind power also gets a rapiddevelopment. As the wind power generation system involving aerodynamics,automatic control theory, the theory of mechanical transmission, electrical scienceand many other subjects, and due to the presence of wind randomness, instability andmutation, many control problems of the wind power generation system are extremelycomplex, the wind power generation system is a complex multi-variable nonlinearuncertain systems. Especially the modeling problem of the wind power system, forsuch a complex nonlinear system there are a variety of different ways to build itsmodel, a reasonable good model of the control system is very significant to theresearch.The main content of this thesis is the application and research of hybridtechnology used in wind power generation system. As in the traditional controltechniques, the wind power system usually had been built into a single continuouscontrol system model or discrete control system model, that could not better descriptthe true nature of wind power systems. Through the analysis of the structural andoperational characteristics in the actual wind power system, this thesis had proved thesignificant confounding features in the wind power system, and further studied theapplications of the hybrid control technology in the wind power generation system.Through the research on the structure and properties of the hybrid systems, this thesisanalyzed the hybrid characteristics of the wind power generation system, describedthe common control methods used in hybrid systems. The physical structure of thewind power generation system was studied, and analyzed the physical characteristicsof every important part of the system, including natural wind characteristics,mechanical characteristics of the wind turbine, transmission model and the physical structure of the generator model. Then the theory of automata theory and hybridautomata models were introduced and studied, and based on these, the hybridautomaton model of wind power generation system was studied. In order to fullyreflect the superiority of hybrid control technology, the subject used the chain systemstheory approach to design the hybrid controller. After the further research to chainsystem theory and its predictive control algorithms, this subject designed the controlrules for the wind power generation system built in this thesis.At last, after the analysis to the model of the system control structure and controlalgorithm, the Matlab/Simulink simulation model were designed. Through thecomputer simulation, the results of the hybrid controller used in the wind powergeneration system were obtained. And these results showed that the hybrid controltechnology could be well used in wind power generation system, and would provide acertain sense and value in the theoretical development. Using the hybrid controltechnology studied in this subject in wind power field is a relatively new application,this is very important to the development of wind power technology.
