The problem of using land in cities are becoming more and more serious along with the process of our nations urbanization the appearance of mechanical stereo garage has caused great concern, which is a good method to use the space for parking.However, there are also conflagrations existing in the development of mechanical stereo garage,thus brings tremendous economy lost and hazardous to lives hence, the research on the development of somke is an issue of great importance.The paper focuses on the developing pattern of smoke of mechanical stereo garage, putting forward reference opinions on the controlling smoke of mechanical stereo garage and selection of fire protection.Vertical mechanical stereo garage is studied.Field modeling is conducted using FDS. Turbulence is simulated by LES technique and fire resource has been given by HRRPUA. Mainly considered the developing law of smoke and fire at three different conditions, discussed the control effect of smoke extraction system and the automatic sprinkler to fire.Simulation results show that three-dimensional garage event of fire, only smoke in the garage under the device does not play a good role in controlling the fire effect, reducing the fire source at the top and the outlet temperature of the garage is not obvious,gas concentration has fall, smoke layer height increased visibility did not change significantly. In the case of the sprinkler system and exhaust system combined effect of three-dimensional development of the fire in the garage obviously been well controlled. This conclusion can be simulated to provide a reference for the fire safety design of mechanical parking garage.
