Arch bridge has a long history. As one of the widely applied bridge types. Archbridge is widely used in bridge construction for the advantages of affordable,appealing design, great load-bearing potentials and so on, and the type of arch bridgecan show the culture deposits where it locates; Arch bridge is always a typicalrepresentative of Chinese ancient bridge construction.In this paper, the research object is arch board bridge combination. Arch BoardComposite Bridge is also called the Deck Arch Bridge, belonging to deck type openspandrel arch bridge. On the basis of previous research results on arch bridge and thepractical engineering background, a series of researches are carried out on this type ofstructure in this paper. the main research contents are as follows:(1)Establishing bridge beam element model with finite element softwareMIDAS Civil, analyzing force and stability of the main arch ring under different loadconditions, finding out the most unfavorable load combination and the mostunfavorable factors that affecting the stress for this kind of bridge according to theresults of static analysis.(2) Set up different rise-span ratio model, analyze the mechanicalperformance influence of different rise-span ratio on the main arch ring forceperformance and obtain the influence regular of rise-span ratio on the stress of thiskind of bridge.(3)Analyze the rangeability of the main arch. Establish beam element model,analyze the natural vibration characteristics of the bridge.(4)Adopt standard response spectrum as the input spectrum curve, considerthe longitudinal、transverse and vertical seismic response of the bridge modelrespectively, analyze structure working condition under the most unfavorable seismiccombination.The results obtained from the study indicate:(1)Horizontal displacement of arch springing along bridge direction and themain arch ring temperature changing are the key factors of beam archcombination bridge design(2)Under the scope of this study, the changes of rise span ratio have relativelysmaller impact on variation of main arch ring internal force and its verticaldisplacement, and as the rise-span ratio increase, main arch ring internal force and itsvertical displacement raise gradually.(3)Form the dynamic force analysis of beam archcombination brige,theauthor findsthe fundamental period of the bridge is1.577second.Beamarchcombination bridge is of partial flexible structure.(4)Under the forces of X,Y,Z three direction earthquake acceleration,responsevalue of the main arch ring displacement along the direction of forcing action is muchhigher than the other two directions’ response value.
