With the increasing need of automobiles, the development speed of automobile industryis gradually accelerating. At the same time, it also led to the development of automobile partsand components manufacturers. Automobile starter is the core component in automobilestarter system, which has an important impact on the starting performance of the car. Statorwinding of automobile starter is a process of automobile starter production, for which thedevice stator winding machine for automobile starter is used. Many domestic manufacturingenterprises for automobile starter use the backward winding machine, so that the statorwinding is loose and irregular. On the basis of fully absorb correlation techniques of variouskinds of winding machines, the paper has made a numerical control design for the statorwinding machine for automobile starter. By using the numerical control method to commandthe winding process, the winding machine will improve its efficiency and quality.The dissertation spreads on the basis of winding machine’s function realization.Winding machine’s functions are decomposed in order to get the function units, then combinethese function units to get the solution. Principle schemes have been designed in softwareAutoCAD, merits and demerits of which are analysed in order to get the best scheme. Basedon the best scheme, the overall layout of stator winding machine for automobile starter hasbeen designed. According to the overall layout, the winding machine has been divided intoseveral modules: tensional pay-off module, axial winding module, circumferential windingmodule, splinting wire module, stator clamping module, mechanical frame module, indexingmodule and control system module. Detailed design, selection and calculation have beenmade to the parts of each module. The models of the parts have been built in3D-designsoftware Solidworks, as well as the assembly. A motion simulation of stator winding machinefor automobile starter has been made in Solidworks Motion in order to test the windingfunction. According to the results of the motion simulation, the force conditions of key parthave been analysed in Solidworks Simulation, the results of which show that the machinecould run steadily.The paper has made a preliminary design of the control system, and decides the controlplan which are consist of PLC and touch panel. All the components needed are figured out. Itassigns each component the right I/O port and works out the PLC wiring diagram. Accordingto the structural features and process requirement, the machine’s workflow is figured out. |
