The high-speed railway has characteristics of fast speed, large conveying capacity, safety and comfort. In recent years, the high-speed railway develops very fast in China. However, when the high-speed train is running, vibrations of the surrounding ground and nearby buildings caused by the high-speed train may have bad effects on people’s living and production activities. More seriously, it can even cause softening of the subsoil, fatigue failure of the rail, interruption of the train power, which can affect the running-safety of train. So it has been a fundamental study how to correctly simulate the vibration of a moving train and analyze the vibtation laws. This paper studies the characteristics of the environmental vibration caused by a high-speed train running on the ballastless track and laws of the vibration’s attenuation. The main contents are as follows:(1) A3-Dimensional model of high-speed train-ballastless track-subsoil dynamic interaction is set up by means of finite element software ABAQUS. And in this model, the train body, bogie, and wheels are respectively regarded as rigid body, and the vertical model of vehicles with two suspension systems is used to simulate the dynamic behavior of the train. In order to prevent the reflection of vibration wave, a finite/infinite element coupling model is adopted to simulate the subsoil. The track irregularity is based on Germany spectrum of track irregularity and simulated by the inverse Fourier transform method and the Matlab programming.(2) A3-Dimensional model of moving load-subsoil is set up in this paper. And this model is used to analyze the effects of load speeds on the vibration characteristics and attenuation laws of free field vibration.(3) By using the3D model of high-speed train-ballastless track-subsoil, this paper discusses the vibration characteristics and attenuation laws of the subsoil of the free field. Besides, the parametric analysis are used in this paper to analyze the effects of damping ratio, soft subsoil and hard subsoil on vibration characteristics and attenuation laws of the free field when the high-speed trains pass through.
