With the rapid development of China's high-speed railway construction,the vibration hazards of the surrounding environment due to the operation of high-speed railways have become increasingly prominent.Among these,the secondary vibration of buildings induced along the high-speed railway has caused widespread concern in both engineering and academic communities.It is very necessary to study the vibration characteristics of high-speed railway and its control measures.To this end,the following studies have been conducted in this thesis and the corresponding conclusions have been also obtained:(1)The dynamic response of the ground and the buildings was monitored and measured in the field.And the secondary vibration of the ground and its induced hazards were obtained by employing the techniques of both wavelet analysis and spectrum analysis.(2)Based on the nonlinear dynamic finite element analysis program ABAQUS,a dynamic analysis model of the high-speed train,rail,foundation,ground and buildings interaction was established.Furthermore,a subprogram was developed to analyze the environmental vibration characteristic,which was validated with the data obtained by the field measurement.(3)Based on the analysis model of dynamic interaction between high-speed railway and its surrounding environment,the vibration isolation structure such as hollow trench and damping infill wall was embedded to analyze the vibration damping effect of these vibration isolation structures.It has been concluded that the empty trenches and damping infill walls can effectively mitigate the vibration induced hazards on the buildings due to the high-frequency environmental vibration.(4)A novel viscous damping vibration isolation material was invented.It can be used to build four types of vibration isolation structures such as PVC pipe-damping infilling wall,steel plate-damping infilling wall,damping infilling wall,polystyrene foam board,and damping infilling wall.According to the indoor model experiments,the vibration isolation characteristics of different types of the vibration isolation structureswere analyzed and studied.The experimental results indicated that such structures can mitigate the vibration effects on the high-speed railway environmental vibration in the frequency range of 30Hz-40 Hz.It is hoped that the output from the present work can contribute to the analysis of the vibration induced hazards,the establishment of such hazard control theory and measures,and the improvement of the design,operation and management for the China's high speed railway industry.
