Abstract:In the earth pressure balance shield work with water-rich ground, removal and transportation of soil will get in great difficulties. Stirred mud pollutes the tunnel and traffic route, leading to high costs of cleaning services. Both working environment and city environmental are spoilt. Water-rich soil can not be in accordance with the standard for construction waste disposal set down by the department of environment. Water-rich soil transportation problem of earth pressure balance shield should be solved urgently.Based on summary of EPB shield muck transport systems and solid-liquid separation technique, an innovative predewatering process in tunnel is proposed. The main research work is as follows:(1) Shield construction is introduced from its status and trend, construction investigation, and its type and characteristics. Contrastive study on the merits and demerits is made in this thesis. The extent of application of slurry shield and EPB shield is explored, providing a basis for the selections of shield.(2) Through the research of EPB shield muck transport systems and slurry shield slag and mud separation technology, the problem of data EPB shield muck transport systems is analyzed, and practical targets of predewatering process in tunnel is identified combined with shield construction project fact.(3) The investigation and feasibility studies of the screen technology, pressure filter, screw press filter are made in order to choose appropriate equipments for shield tunneling and point theirs improving design applied to solid-liquid separation and transportation in tunnel.(4) The scheme designs of the most practical equipments, screw press filter and vibrating screen, are explicated in detail, actualizing solid-liquid separation and transportation in tunnel, making EPB shield construction cleaner and more environmental protection. In terms of shield muck typical of large transportation and high viscosity, the multi-function scraping and transport equipment for vibrating screen is developed, enhancing its processing and anti-blocking ability. (5) Muck transport system scheme of EPB shield is designed, combining with one EPB shield actual work example.
