Abstract:Tamping machine is a specialized equipment for tamping the railway sleeper bottom ballast both sides of the rail. Tamping device is the core working equipment of the railway line tamping machine. Due to the special working environment and related to the driving safety, it’s stability and reliability seems particularly important. Currently, tamping machine’s tamping device exists big hydraulic impact, clamping hydraulic cylinder leaking and other problems, which affects the efficiency and quality of tamping operation given repair time. So it is significant to study hydraulic system of tamping device. This paper focuses on the hydraulic system of09-32tamping device. The main work is as follows:1. Mathematical model of the tamping device was established to study the force status of clamping hydraulic cylinder piston rod and the cylinder block, equivalent stiffness, equivalent mass and equivalent damp of vibration system. Dynamic simulation of the tamping device was done and the eccentric shaft vibration’s force to clamping cylinder was obtained, which laid a foundation for research of tamping device’s hydraulic system pressure pulsation mechanism and it’s suppression methods.2. The working principle of tamping device’s hydraulic system was further studied. Combining with tamping device’s motion characteristics, the reason of generating pressure pulsation of tamping device’s hydraulic system was analyzed. Three methods to suppress system pressure pulsation were proposed:set accumulator on clamping cylinder into oil line, set orifice on return line, and set accumulator and orifice at the same time. On the basis of mathematical model of the system, the influence of the improvement methods on the system pressure fluctuation and system response speed was qualitatively analyzed.3. The AMESim/ADAMS united simulation model of tamping device was built. Simulation results verified vibration force influenced clamping cylinder pressure. Through analysis and comparison of three improved schemes’ pressure fluctuate damping effect and simulation comparison of the impact on the system response speed, optimal pressure fluctuation suppression scheme of setting accumulator and orifice simultaneously was identified.4. The tamping device hydraulic experimental bench was designed. Through experiments, the influence of eccentric shaft vibration on the clamping cylinder pressure was verified. The improvement scheme was applied to tamping device’s hydraulic system, and experiment results demonstrated the feasibility of the improvement scheme.
