Abstract:With the deepening of the western development strategy and the rapid development of highway construction, there are a large number of tall and steep slopes under bridges, while vehicle-bridge coupled vibration will affect stability of the slopes. Once bridge foundation slope destroyed, normal operation of the bridge will be affected, even the people’s life and property security, so it is important to research the stability of tall and steep slopes under action of vehicle-bridge coupled vibration. In this paper, the static and dynamic stability analysis on the right side slope of the left line of Shandian River Bridge was conducted, the main work is as follows:1. Vehicle-bridge coupled vibration analysis theory and calculation model were introduced in detail, and the motion equation of vehicle-bridge coupled vibration system was established based on the principle of total potential energy with stationary value in elastic system dynamics and the "sit-in-right-position" rule for forming structural matrices.2. Using finite element software ABAQUS, finite element model of the slope on the right side of the left line of Shandian River Bridge was established, and static stabilities of the slope on the stage of nature, construction and completion were analyzed. The superstructure dynamic calculation was done by using vehicle-bridge coupled vibration analysis program VBS-2, and then dynamic stability of the slope was analyzed based on the results.3. The effects of different bridge foundation design parameters (pile’s position, pile’s length, pile’s diameter and slope gradient) on static and dynamic stabilities of the slope on the right side of the left line of Shandian River Bridge main bridge were discussed.4. The effects of different vehicle-bridge dynamic parameters (vehicle speed, vehicle load, vehicle distance and bridge deck roughness) on1#pier vertical force of Shandian River Bridge left main bridge and dynamic stability of the slope were discussed.
