The power transformer plays an important role of energy conversion andtransmission in the grid. Many transformers have been operated for a long time.Those aging transformers face many problems such as failure in operation andinsulation problem, which have increased the probabilities of an accident. Theaccidents of transformers cause huge losses. Therefore, It has an importanttheoretical and practical significance of the condition assessment, fault diagnosisand maintenance for power transformers to prevent and reduce the failureprobabilities.The paper studies methods of power transformer fault diagnosis and prove thevalidity and feasibility of the model by example. Transformer DGA combinationforecast model of variable weight is put forward, and prove its good predictioneffect by example. The power transformer condition evaluation model is set upthrough the quantitative research on the risk assessment of power transformer anddesign state overhaul strategy by using fuzzy analytic hierarchy process.The condition assessment and maintenance assistant decision system for powertransformers is designed and realized. Power transformer condition evaluationmodel is set up to generate condition evaluation reports automatically. Throughthe theoretical and practical research to realize power transformer quantitative riskevaluation and risk assessment report is generated automatically. By using fuzzyanalytic hierarchy process to implement automatic generation of power transformermaintenance decision-making. To organize the implementation of the applicationand testing of the system in the field work, and analyze and summarize theoperation and test results.
