Research On Frequency Stability And Control Strategy In Large-Scale Wind Power Integrated System

As the most mature and prospective clean energy, wind power keeps a strongdevelopment momentum. On one hand developing large-scale wind power follows thestrategic target of the energy structure adjustment, on the other hand, it brings morechallenges on technology field.On the basis of primary researches, this article works on active power controlstrategy of wind farm and aims at solving the frequency problems that caused by windfarm in grid-connecting mode.First of all, the basic principle and classification of wind turbine is introduced,especially the constant speed wind turbine, doubly-fed wind turbine and permanentmagnetic synchronous wind turbine. Being the mainstream model, the mathematicalmodel of doubly-fed wind turbine is built and is realized in MATLAB. After all,influence on frequency caused by wind farms is analyzed.Secondly, active power control method for wind turbine is proposed, includinglow wind control mode, medium wind control mode and high wind control mode. Thecontrol method can achieve the control target well, so the active power controlstrategy for the wind farm can be realized to help regulating the frequency.Finally, from the viewpoint of wind farm, an active power control strategy withauxiliary frequency regulation function is proposed. As long as the power systemfrequency exceeding limit value, wind farm switches to frequency regulation modeand helps to support system frequency. This control strategy makes it possible forwind farm helping conventional unit regulating frequency actively. So the frequencycan recover more quickly.
