Microgrid is a part of the smart grid, which is derived from distributedgeneration. It gives full play to the advantages of distributed generation, effectivelycompensates for the lack of large grid. It also uses advanced control technology tosolve the access problem of distributed power. This article is mainly a research onmicrogrid economic operation, optimizing by coevolutionary algorithm to get andistribution plan with lower operating costs and fewer pollution, under differentoperating conditions. The main work of this article has the following aspects:(1) Introduce the relevant theoretical knowledge of microgrid. In this section, theconcept, basic structure and the technologies of microgrid are described, the researchon economic issues of microgrid is discussed, and several common microsources areintroduced.(2) Discuss the economic optimization of microgrid and build a microgrideconomic operation model. Based on the analyzing of the purpose and type ofeconomic optimization of the microgrid, an economic and environmental model isbuilt, determining the objective function of the model as well as the constraints. Andthen the optimization algorithm used herein is proposed, after introducing severalexisting algorithms for this issue.(3) Introduce the coevolutionary algorithm, and put forward the improvedalgorithm. Coevolutionary algorithm is divided into competitive and cooperative twotypes. Algorithm flow, fitness calculation, the advantages and problems of the twokinds of algorithms are discussed. And for the microgrid economic optimization, thesetwo algorithms are improved to make them suitable for the issue and executeconcurrently.(4) Use the improved algorithm to optimize the example of the microgrid model.An example of microgrid model constructed in this paper is set up firstly. Thenoptimize the example using the two improved algorithms and traditional geneticalgorithm. By comparing the results, the advantages of the two improved algorithmsapplying in the economic operation of the microgrid can be analyzed.
