With the constant development of economy, city area gradually expanded, roadconstruction investment increased each year. The original overhead transmission line hasseriously restricted the development of city. In order to meet the need of cityconstruction and fully use of the existing high voltage transmission line, reduceduplication of funding input, it’s necessary to shift and transform such transmission lineswhich influence the development and construction of the city for power line maintenancedepartment. At the same time, strengthen management to meet the needs of thedevelopment of the city, also to ensure the safe and stable operation of power line.In this paper, combined with practical engineering of Jinzhou, such problems arestudied and resloved:1. The design and manufacturing process of gossan are briefly introduced through theimplement of gossan for the original tower, which realize the transformation for crossinglines.2. The transformation for isolated towers in the central road. Technology comparisonargument from various angles are inducted for the steel towers, then the advantages anddisadvantages of the towers during the transformation projects are also analysed. Basedon these considerations,the construction scheme of whole shift fot isolated towers are putforward.3. Line transformation on both sides of the highway. Steel tube towers play importantrole during reconstruction project of the transmission lines, ensuring the transformationprogress of highway roads go smoothly.
