The Research And Application Of Softswitch In Electric Power Dispatching System

Power dispatch network is designed as a important and safe network to ensure thestable operation of the power system. As the economic increasing, the social developingand power requirement expand. Network construction and business services of powerdispatch network are also facing new challenges. By introducing soft switch technology,a convergence network of voice, video and broadband data can be created to serve powerdispatching. It will greatly facilitate communication and information technology toimprove the power sector.First, this paper investigated application situation in power communication aspectsand the development soft switch technology in telecommunications field, domestic andinternational. Combining with the power dispatch network status and problems, thispaper analyzed necessity of the introducing soft switch technology into electric powerdispatching network. Then on the basic of the analyzing the characteristics of the variousforecasting models, this paper selected wavelet neural network model to predict the basicsoft switch network bandwidth required by voice traffic; analyzed bandwidthrequirement of other businesses in soft switch network in addition. Finally, this paperproposed a soft switch technology programs of provincial power company. There arethree parts: analyzed dispatching exchange network status and summarized theshortcomings of the existing network of traditional digital telephone switching network;network design, including networking solutions and the province far recent networkplanning; estimated and recommendations of the equipment of network bandwidth.
