Beam-arch association bridge, which combined by beam and arch, bears the load. Thiskind of bridge integrates their merit, with the characteristics of reasonable on mechanics, highmaterial utilization and beauty. Usual styles for this kind of bridge are parallel one and inwardone. This article did researches on influence factors and cooperation mechanics between beamand arch, and deduced practical formula.(1) Suspender forces which beam-arch association bridge distributed loads were regardedas filmy tension. According to the method of structural mechanics deduced practical formulaof this kind of bridge. With the examples, compared with the finite element results andcalculated results. And analysis the deviation causes. Using four parabolic filmy tension toreplace uniform tension, cosine force to filmy force. And get appropriate correction factors.(2) Analyzed the influence of the axial deformation, and simplified formula of rigid archand flexible beam.(3) From the two aspects of static and dynamic, demonstrated two different deformationcompatibility conditions of continuous beam-arch association bridges.(4) With the mechanical method, the formulas about elastic center of continuousbeam-arch association bridges were acquired.(5) According to the method of structural mechanics,the influence lines of beam、archand suspenders which structure under the concentrated load were derived. To explore theinfluences about ratio of beam-arch sectional flexural rigidity、ratio of rise to span and loadsposition on the internal force.(6) On the assumption that all suspender forces were equal, presented the expressions onratio of load sharing, ratio of moment sharing and ratio of deflection between beam and arch.Furthermore, to explore the influences about ratio of beam-arch sectional flexural rigidity,ratio of rise to span, ratio of side-middle span, ratio of suspender-arch equivalent flexuralrigidity and axial deformation. Reveals the cooperation mechanic between beam and arch forcontinuous beam-arch association bridges.
