China Railway great developing is obvious which is to bring in, digest, absorbtechnology of EMUs abroad and then export China’s CRH technology. Now TSDIG isdesigning the China-Pakistan Railway. Although EMUs have not yet run through the wholeline that is Huhanrong fast passenger railway traffic. It was finished on December28th,2013. On the same day, Hunan-Guangxi line expansion project was officially finished.China high-speed railway has developed since years ago. China railway engineersmake great contributions. Although Europe EMU and rail profile is very closed with EMUand rail profile in China, but you must know that in the industry of railway vehicles, a bit ofdifference makes different. S1002is a good match with UIC60while S1002is a poor matchwith the CHN60! It is too hard to distinguish UIC60between CHN60without machine.Therefore, this study is based on LMAtread has a good match with CHN60rail profile.The paper devoted to the amount of wear of track and operational safety of passengerdedicated line in mountainous areas, using numerical method as a main means of simulation.It based on Kalker’s linear creepage theory and drawing on Elkins wear index model. Trackirregularity, wheel tread, Rail profile, and elastic foundation are taken into account asfactors.With the CRH2EMU is built by using SIMPACK, the creepage rate and creepageforce are calculated. It also discussed the curve radius who affected the creepage rate, wearof track, the rate of load reduction and the coefficient of derailment. Giving comparison tosix kinds of curves, it knew the dynamic performance of both treads. At the speed of120km/h, with the curve radius halved, the amount of wear of left track match with LMAtread increases about6times. From the perspective of the amount of wear and operationalsafety, the paper give advice to the design theory on mountainous railway line for passengertraffic.When CRH2EMU is running passenger dedicated line in mountainous areas, it isnecessary to analysis the hunting motion of CRH2EMU. It is useful to the operation andmanagement of the Railway Bureau. The result shows that: the speed and the critical speedbifurcation has similar results. Thus, CRH2EMU running speed can not exceed the criticalspeed.
