At present, the disc brake system as the main brake mode is widely used in high speedtrains. In the process of brake, a harmful high-frequency vibration is made due to the frictionbetween the brake disc and pad. This vibration will not only do harm to the car bodyequipment, but also influence the running stability and the health of the passenger. At thesame time, the resultant noise aggravates the noise pollution. And smooth parking and thenormal use will be influenced. As a result, it is of great importance to solve the vibrationproblem. This thesis studies how to analyze and suppress the vibration of the disc brakesystem, the contents are as following.1. Its introduction includes disc brake system and its installation, research status of thechatter and control, development of the high speed trains, research background and trainsbasis brake device. At the same time, the thesis point the exist problem and the furtherdirection. At last, the contents are briefly summarized.2. The research about friction is introduced, which includes the mechanical behavior ofthe friction, friction chatter and several friction models. Also, based on the ideal condition, speed dependence and displacement dependence condition, the models above are explained. The mechanism of brake chatter and brake noise are concluded. In the end, several solutionsto nonlinear problems are analyzed.3. According to the working principle of the disc brake system, a single degree offreedom dynamics model is established considering the effects of track excitation. Then, areasonable friction model is chosen as the system friction. The analytical solution of thesystem pure sliding state is calculated by the analytical method. And the stick slip stagedynamic analysis has been carried out by numerical simulation. At last, the influence of theeach factor on the systemic moving is analyzed.4. In the process of brake, the orbital excitation has some effects on the disc brakesystem, and, the chatter caused by the friction has some effects on the body and the bogie. Athree degree freedom of disc brake system is established by combing the disc braking systemand the1/4body model. By using the numerical simulation method, the effects the brake padand brake disc have on each other are analyzed, and the influence of chatter with on body andthe bogie is also analyzed.5. Based on the mechanical chatter control and aircraft wing flutter control theories, flutter suppression of the disc brake system is studied. A single degree of freedom model flutter control by using washout filter method is analyzed. And installation of hydraulic shockabsorbers way to suppress brake judder is proposed by combining the multiple degrees offreedom models.6.Finally, the summaries of the thesis and further reach trends are suggested.
