| ABSTRACT:Urban rail transit is an important part of city’s public transportation system, which plays a key role in city traffic organization and even urban operation. On one hand, urban rail transit offers safe, quick, convenient, punctual and comfortable service. On the other hand, subway emergencies such as train failure, fire, flood, terrorist attack etc. have caused terrible damages to people’s life and property because of the relatively closed space and high population density. Especially under the background of network operation, the "connected effect" is most likely to cause immeasurable losses. To minimize the loss and effect caused by subway emergencies, quick response and dispose are of great importance, which firstly depends on proper and effective emergency rescue stations sitting. Therefore, considering the characteristics of network operation and subway emergencies, this paper has done corresponding research on the location of emergency rescue stations in combination with related theories of network science. The paper proves that urban rail transit network possesses the characteristics of complex network, which indicates that urban rail transit network has the ability of anti-destroying under random attack, but easy to breakdown under targeted attack. Therefore, the idea that doing research on location of urban rail transit emergency rescue stations in combination with network centrality theory is proposed. The paper explains how to analyze the network centrality of a network and set up p-center location model of emergency rescue stations. The model is to minimize the largest rescue distance and in the meantime, protect the important stations in urban rail transit network., which improves the quality of emergency rescue greatly. To solve the model, a calculation method is programmed on matlab platform based on genetic algorithm. The research results above are applied to select the location of emergency rescue stations in Beijing rail transit network, the result from which is compared with present situation. Finally, the paper makes conclusions and gives some suggestions of optimization and improvement on the present scheme. Also, it points out some shortcomings of the research and the direction of development in the future. In a word, this paper does research on location of emergency rescue stations from a different point of view. It contributes to the abundance of location problem theory and offers reference and advice on the planning, construction and operation of urban rail transit. |
