Strategy Study On The Adaptable Protection Of Historic Conservation Area

Abstract:Have experienced the history and culture, historic conservation area becomes the valuable wealth of the city today. Its architectural features, streets and lanes textures, patterns, spatial scales, and environment styles reflect the urban connotation and spirit. As the accelerated progress of urbanization, some historic conservation have been damaged, which means tremendous loss. The significance of historic conservation area has been noticed soon, and there is protection measures which achieve something now. However, there are problems about the protection in some historic area, the Static Protection is far away from the resident’s needs for survival, development and living environment, so there are signs of decline in the area, and the residents are unwilling to live in the neighborhoods.Above all, after the historic conservation area protection theory is being combed, the theory on adaptable protection of historic conservation area is raised in connection with the decline of the area due to the protection. The study on the development of Adaptability and the main factors of adaptable protection of historic conservation area provides idea for strategy study on the adaptable protection of the Taiping history conservation area. Then the study is focus on Taiping history conservation area. The space vitality, the lane vitality, the lane security, the lane accessibility and public involved construction are estimated based on the survey of the block. The estimate study on different agents is carried out by analytic hierarchy process (AHP) except the public involved construction whose data is quite obvious. Finally, the comprehensive strategy of Taiping historic conservation area adaptable protection is raised, which consist of policy system, capital, public involved conservation, protection and utilization of historic building, space and street reform, the improvement of infrastructure, population and residential adjustment and development of cultural industry, etc.The innovation spot of this Paper is the estimate analysis by AHP, which is much objective, and the strategy of Taiping historic conservation area adaptable protection is raised, which is much more comprehensive. Due to the limitation of some aspects, there are still some defects which need to be completed, such as the agents in the estimate system are not comprehensive enough, the connection between each factors is neglected in the AHP. However, I hope the study would work in the Taiping historic conservation area adaptable protection and be useful for other relevant protection and study.
