This paper is about the gas properties in the exhaust pipe. With relevant theories, this paper analyzes the varying of inner gas’s pressure, temperature and velocity of flowing. In this paper, we measure the mixed gas’s temperature and pressure in the auto vent-pipe with experiment of engine’s gas escaping, and calculate the date with software to build mathematical models of the inner gas’s properties. With the result of mathematical calculating, we use the software to exam the truth of the experiment’s data.In this paper’s experiment, with sensors at different points of the auto vent-pipe, we measure the inner gas’s pressure and temperature of1.6L engine under different speeds. The experiment is dived to low temperature circumstances and high temperature circumstances, and, we analyze the impacting of ambient temperature to exhaust through comparing this two parts’ data. As a result, we know that the inner gas’s temperature and pressure will rise when the engine’s speeding up. By analyzing the data, we catch a tentative law about the influence of exhaust properties to inner gas’s temperature and pressure.According to the structure of the auto vent-pipe, with analyzing the data of experiment, we have achieved the flowing properties of inner gas in the auto vent-pipe. By using relevant mathematical model of simulation software, we have acquired the data about inner gas’ temperature, pressure and flowing speed at some points of the auto vent-pipe. As the result, we know that the inner gas’temperature varies especially with the changing of the sectional area of the auto vent-pipe. At the front of the auto vent-pipe, there is an obvious relation between pressure and temperature varying. The ambient temperature has an obvious impacting on exhaust. When ambient temperature is low, the average temperature of the auto vent-pipe becomes lower.
