Abstract:Vertical alignment is one of the decisive factors which will directly affect the investment of the construction and operation of a railway. In this paper, based on the characters of railway profile optimization and previous research work, mathematic models to obtain the initial solutions for profile optimization and alignment design are established, Where ant colony algorithm and improved particles algorithm are applied. Main research work is as follows.1、In order to obtain the initial position of slope changing point of profile design, a grid model suiting the ant colony algorithm is constructed, associating the characteristic of railway profile design.2、Based on the initial profile design scheme getting from the grid model, this thesis proposed an auto design model to calculate the optimum profile using particles algorithm, in which tunnels and bridges settings and the avoidance of inappropriate combinations of plain and profile design are considered at the same time. Besides, the particles algorithm is improved for a higher searching efficiency.3. VC++and ObjectARX2009are used to code the profile optimization simulation program. Then a practical project is analyzed to verify the rationality of the proposed optimization model and the feasibility of the calculating algorithm.
