The shortage of resources and environment condition deteriorate day by day willprove an obstacle on our economic development. Because our country’s urbanization andindustrialization become more and more fast, energy shortage and environmentalvariation become more and more serious. So, reducing emissions of pollutants can notonly improve the present situation of our economic development, but also play animportant part for the long-term and stable development of our economic. Our countryhave made express provision: At the end of2010, resource consumption for per unit ofGDP must descend20%compare to the end of2005.In this way, our country have puteconomic development and environmental protection on the same important position.The power plants consume coal, kerosene, etc, and generate electrical energy. For themoment, our power enterprises are developing for this way that how to product the mostsecondary energy with the least primary energy. So, for the structure characteristics andthe utilization status of our country primary energy, along with the development trend ofelectric power industry and the energy consumption level, this article have posed theresearch of boiler combustion optimization.The purpose of optimization of combustion for power station boiler is keeping thereasonable matching for primary air, secondary air, supply air and induced air, and thenkeeping the combustion rate; satisfy the need of outside load, stability of the main steampressure. The radiant energy signal of firepot can response the changes of burning rate inboiler rapidly, so we put forward the way of using laser measurement to gain the radiantenergy signal, then lead it into the control loop of the main steam pressure, constitute acascade control loop, after that, using the way of particle swarm optimization to conductcomputer simulation for control loop, in order to achieve the goal of combustionoptimization.
