With the new "drinking water health standards"(GB5749-2006) was issued, in order to deal with the status of surface water pollution was getting worse and comply with the new standards, O3-BAC process was bound to become the new water treatment process select the object. Due to the long-running biological activated carbon filter carbon surface massive growth of various microorganisms, this moment mainly depends on the metabolic functions of microbial filter realization of organic matter degradation and ammonia nitrification and other functions, especially in the spring and autumn, as the temperature rises, the BAC tank effluent may contain a higher microbial biomass, and thus the disinfection process to a certain pressure. For Jinshan BAC treatment process, what law is BAC microbial leakage? How can the use of real-time or rapid characterization of microbial indicator system leakage levels was the first problem to be solved.This study relies Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Program (SH2013012), pass for the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River water quality characteristics, be conducted in Zhenjiang Jinshan O3-BAC process water. And through the water purification process each unit sampled,it researched characteristics of O3-BAC water leakage microorganisms; while establishing correspondence between the water through the particle counter and microbiological indicators, rapid detection of microbial leakage. Conclusions are as follows:(1) Through the analysis shows that the existing process water: coagulation sedimentation and GAC, ozone technology for HPC, actinomycetes, TB removal rate reach99.67%,99.26%,99.73%, but after BAC HPC, actinomycetes, TB increase19.45times,12.42times,47.87times as large, it shows that carbon filter microorganisms "leakage" exists. Running the same time, BAC effluent HPC, actinomycetes, TB and positively related to water temperature.(2) By studying the water depth treatment of microbial community structure in the process known:number and types of BAC effluent microorganisms in different depths vary, the number of microbial of surface is largest, and mostly is slender bacillus, with BAC depth increases with biomass the gradual reduction, and major groups are bacilli and cocci. Water particles provide nutrition for activated carbon layer microbial, the more particles, the more microbial growth and reproduction, biological activated carbon filter out of the water carrying bacteria and their metabolites are also more residues.(3) By studying effects on biological safety of BAC effluent particulate matter shows:in the GAC effluent filtration cycle,≥2μm particle size of the average number are35/mL, but mainly are in the particle size of2-15μm between, so that the GAC limit effectiveness of "two worms" biological risk; GAC effluent turbidity changes lag changes of the number of particles, and correlation is poor between the two changes, R2<0.1, it is difficult to achieve effective control of particulate only with turbidity monitoring parameters; the particles of GAC effluent is great impact on the number of the particles of BAC effluent; After comparing different BAC operation cycle found that it can be maintained on the lower level of BAC effluent water particles, if it can be shortened operation cycle moderately.(4) To correlating analysis of particulate matter and water microbes known:By studying the water particles and the number of microorganisms in water (HPC, actinomycetes, TB),it can be obtained correspondence, and it can be used for rapid detection of microorganisms indicators in water.
