Research On Refined Residential Decoration Construction Process Planning System Based On Modular Method

Although the residential decoration industry obtains magnificently progress in recent years, there still remain some difficult problems, such as lack of personality and information transparency. Informationization technique is an essential method to solve these problems. Residential decoration process includes three phases, plan (owner’s requirements), design, and construction, which consists of several subphases such as preparatory plan, construction stage, plant engineering, quality check and acceptance, etc. In the preparatory plan part, the construction object, construction method and procedure should be fixed according to the owner’s requirements. In this thesis the process planning method, which is well-studied in mechanical engineering, is introduced to the residential decoration industry based on the group decoration system. The implementation methods for requirements analysis, procedure design, database design and process planning are analyzed in detail. Afterward a new residential decoration prototype system, aiming at improving the decoration efficiency and design reusability, is proposed with the employment of modularization and CAPP techniques. The following issues are addressed:In Chapter1, state of the art of the residential decoration industry is analyzed, and the developing tendency and remained problems are discussed in detail. To overcome the problems described above, the idea of informationization-based residential decoration system is proposed. Afterward the contents and framework of this thesis is elaborated.In Chapter2, the requirement of the proposed system is analyzed. Firstly some key elements of the process planning system are described. Modularization technique is used to design the procedures of the process planning system, and the conceptual data model is proposed. Finally the structure of the process planning system of residential decoration system is given according to the CAPP system.In Chapter3, three essential techniques, including universal coding method, WBS method and process decision model, are introduced to the implantations of different modules in the process planning system.In Chapter4, a detailed introduction of the proposed design and implementation method, together with an introduction of the achieved prototype system of a specific project are displayed.In chapter5, the achievements and the shortcomings of the paper are summarized, and a prospect for future work is given.
