With the rapid development of the city, add layer transformed into a widely used method now, especially the age-old building, as the capacity of the structure bearing is limited, the use of sleeve layer structure becomes more common. For the sleeve steel structure on reinforced concrete structure, there is no corresponding technical specifications to constraint, where is a blank area. Engineering background of this paper is a building add layer reconstruction project in Shanxi, on the basis of the twelve-floors having been built reinforced concrete shear walls, steel truss transfer structure is applied to transition layer, and added new four layer steel frame structures, aiming at the complex mixed with added layer structure has carried on the correlation seismic performance analysis.Using finite element analysis software MIDAS to analysis the structure under normal use conditions:1.On the basis of the domestic and international references literatures of this paper, aiming at the particularity and complexity of the project, puts forward the suitable for add layer of sleeve steel framework plan of this project.2.With the help of finite element analysis software MIDAS/GEN built model for response spectrum analysis and time history analysis, to study the structure properties and parameters, which meet the specification requirements and the structure is safe.3.It is well to deal with the worries of different structure system by taking the steel truss structure on the transformation layer, so that the hybrid structure can work well together, and it can transmit the internal forces to sleeve steel columns.4.Using frame beam connect with sleeve steel frame column in vertical, it provides high lateral stiffness and at the same time solves the calculation length transfinite problem of high-chicken column and connected with the original structure by rigid bar chain in the lateral.5. Through the modal analysis, using two different methods to calculate the damping ratio of hybrid structure, discuss the distribution of hybrid structural damping ratio under the various modes, and discuss the influence of damping ratio on hybrid structure internal force.By researching a engineering example in this article, it can provide reference for the similar add layer project, lay the foundation for further research work.
