In recent years, The widely used of delivery vehicles has played a tremendous role in the global economic development. However, most of the traditional mode of transportation are using high carbon, the pollution caused by carbon emissions during the transport process can not be ignored. With the increasing demands on the environmental protection and low carbon in the whole society, developing a new low carbon transport mode takes a pivotal position in the construction of green logistics system.The hydraulic transportation of TRM (tube-contained row material) is an emerging concept in the field of pipeline transportation. It overcomes a lot of drawbacks of traditional pipeline models, and it combines some new advantages like non-pollution in process, energy consumption and so on. This concept is consistent with the modern logistics requirements of environment-friendly and low energy consumption. So this delivery model has broad prospects for development and highly application value.To further enrich the contents of TRM, while improving the theories of slit flow, this article was combined with National Natural Science Foundation of China, this article takes the force conditions of piped carriage and velocity distribution of slit flow at the section of straight pipeline as objects, based on a technology roadmap of theoretical analysis, experimental research and numerical simulation. It provides three methods for selecting the optimum diameter of piped carriage at last. The results and conclusion through this article are as follows: (1) To get the factors of the initial pressure force of piped carriage with different diameter. It has improved the starting conditions theory of the piped carriage under the condition of straight pipeline.(2) To propose a standard to select the optimum diameter of piped carriage which is based on transportation efficiency. Under the certain circumstances of quality transported, transmission distance and length of piped carriage, the optimum diameter piped carriage could achieve a faster conveying speed at a lower energy consumption.(3) It has proposed the first method to select the optimum diameter which is based on the bulk density of the piped carriage. It can be considered that the diameter has achieved to the optimum diameter when the bulk density ratio between piped carriage and water close to1.(4) From the relationship among the average velocity of piped carriage,pipeline flow, and slit flow, this article has proposed another way to select the optimum diameter which is called average velocity method. This method means if the three velocity are closest to each other under the condition of stable movement, the diameter of this piped carriage could be select as the optimum diameter.(5) The slit flow velocity distribution is selected as the object under the condition of stable movement of the piped carriage, this article proposed a third way to select the optimum diameter which is called velocity distribution method. This method means when the velocity distribution of slit flow is similar to the pipeline flow, the diameter of this piped carriage could be select as the optimum diameter.(6) The numerical simulation for the slit flow is based on the stable movement of piped carriage. By using the software of FLUENT, the result of test and simulation could be authenticated to each other.
