Low pressure economizer is equipment that uses the waste heat of flue gas, usuallyinstalled in the rear of the boiler. It can reduce the exhaust temperature of the boiler unit,and recover the flue gas waste heat into thermal system. Thus reduces the coalconsumption and improve the economic benefit of unit operation. As a result, the lowpressure economizer is widely used in power plant waste heat recycling. This thesisanalyzes the arrangement scheme and the parameters optimization design process of thelow pressure economizer in detail, and can provide a reference for boiler smoke wasteheat recycling.Through analyzing the main arrangement scheme and design parameters of the lowpressure economizer, summarizes the constraints in the optimization design process ofthe low pressure economizer, and establishes the general mathematical model for theparameters optimization design of low pressure economizer in the coal-fired power unitswith the mechanism of waste heat utilization and the theory of equivalent enthalpy dropof the low pressure economizer. Finally, the parameter design and optimization processof low pressure economizer system is analyzed in detail with the example. The analysisresults show that the power generation coal consumption of SaLaQi power plant can bereduced2.428g/kWh-2.47g/kWh by adding the optimized low pressure economizer, andit can bring1.464million yuan per year for SaLaQi power plant under the operationmode.
