During10years, construction industry has been booming in Guizhou. Cities have beenchanged quickly and skyscrapers have been emerged in endlessly. However, there are so manygullies and mountains in Guizhou province with karst terrain. So it’s necessary to detonate andfield engineering in large areas. And a loose deep fill has brought a great many of difficultiesfor construction. Meanwhile, lava will lead to basic water concrete gone; asymmetrical stressof drill will lead to slant hole; bits will be stuck in a small cave and not able to remove anddoing transfer beam support will be difficult to find a strong point. There is no form systemtheory on those special problems in Guizhou. Construction organizations deal with theseproblems so cautiously by experiences that not only does it leaves some hidden trouble in safety,but also it leads to economic waste. It’s based on the campus construction project of GuizhouNormal University, this paper studies on the focusing problems which is produced thedifficulties of hole-forming and hole collapse in deep piles foundation construction of loosehigh backfill in Guizhou mountain areas, as well as studies on the technology of retaining walland piling The main content and result of this paper are as follows:1、It’s necessary to analyze the data about engineering geology, hydrology field and karstof Huaxi campus of Guizhou Normal University and summarize the whole geological conditionin Guizhou area.2、Through the comparison and analysis, this paper has put forward the pore-formingmethod of filling pile which is suitable for loose high fill and the condition that undergroundwater level is lower than bearing stratum. It’s better that using artificial dig-hole or rotating intoa hole filling pile when the depth of backfilling is less than10.5m. Moreover, when the depthof backfilling is deeper than10.5m, we should use rotary machinery into a hole filling pile.3、This paper has respectively analyzed the advantages and disadvantages which use plainconcrete to backfill and use cohesive red clay to backfill, the open pore diameter should be greater than the design pore diameter. Secondly, while using cohesive red clay to backfill, thestability and economy of wall of hole are better than using plain concrete to backfill.4、This paper has come to conclusions safely by comparing the quality of pile betweenvarious pore-forming methods and retaining wall methods as follows. First, digging blast holesartificially is the most reliable quality. Secondly, if using cohesive red clay to backfill into thepore-forming, the pile quality is better than using concrete backfill and all-steel pile casing.Thirdly, all-steel sleeve wall pile quality is not very stable.
